Job Description
Early Careers Personal Care Assistant
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a young professional based in Nailsworth. Join his team of PAs, who provide his personal care and independent living support. This is a great opportunity to help make a difference to our client’s achievements.
Start: Immediately
Live in Position: 7 days on, 7 days off
Location: Nailsworth, near Stroud, Gloucestershire
Pay: £150 per day / £1,050 per week worked
Free accommodation whilst on shift.
Holidays: 5.6 weeks holiday pro rata

Care experience is not required as full training in our client's particular requirements will be provided.
A clean automatic driving license is required for this position, as you will be required to
drive the client’s adapted vehicle.
About our Client:
Our client is a young professional, with a condition called Athetoid Cerebral Palsy. This affects all of his body, most prominently his speech and he uses a computerised communication aid to speak.
He uses an electric wheelchair and is confident in his ability and is living independently in his flat.
He is a chilled and hard-working person. He enjoys all things related to F1 or motorsport, whether
computer games, TV watching, or going to live events. In his spare time, he likes to play sports in
particular Boccia, Cycling and Surfing. Also, he goes to the gym as this not only helps him stay active, it also allows him to socialise and meet new people.
Music is also a passion of his and he likes going to concerts. He enjoys playing games and going to the pub with friends. He is passionate about cooking and eating out at restaurants.
He has a good sense of humor and loves to have banter with friends. Movies and TV are other social activities that he enjoys watching and discussing. He is working for an international Engineering company in South Gloucestershire and is living in Nailsworth.
About You:
You are unlikely to have experience in every aspect of our client's care therefore full training in his
particular needs is provided.
You will need:
- To be physically fit, calm, patient and caring

- To Be professional
- To have a good sense of humour
- A mature and responsible attitude
- Good communication skills
- To be fluent in English.
- To be clean and tidy in both your appearance and ways.
- A full clean UK driving licence (automatic or manual)
You will be fully trained before starting, so previous experience of this type of work is not essential.
You must be able to respect our client's privacy and have an understanding of the need for
confidentiality in all areas of your work.
