We are recruiting on behalf of our client, who is a university student at the University of Warwick. Our client is looking for a like-minded individual to join his current care team to provide his personal care and independent living support. This is a great opportunity to help make a positive impact on a young adult's life.
Start: 1st June 2026
Rota: 7 days on / 7 days off (A mixture of days & nights)
Location: Uni of Warwick (CV4 7AL) / Home in Oxford
Pay: £170 per day = £1,190 per week worked
Free accommodation whilst on shift
Holidays: 5.6 weeks holiday pro rata
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive difference in somebody else's life. Our client has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and as a result, is a full-time wheelchair user. He relies on the assistance of dedicated caregivers to maintain his independence and well-being. This young individual has a great sense of humour and is not looking to be mothered by his PAs. The client will let you know if and when he requires assistance. Your responsibilities will encompass every aspect of daily life to ensure his comfort and quality of life.
As written by him: "In my free time, I enjoy reading, listening to music, watching films/TV and I am particularly keen to hire PAs who share these interests. I'm also eager to find PAs who are relaxed, self-aware and not patronising, with respect for personal boundaries and a sense of humour."
