Salary, Benefits & Hours:Start Date: ASAPRota: 7 days on / 7 days offRate of Pay: Β£175 per day / Β£1,225 per week workedLocation: Glyndwr University, Wrexham, Wales.Free accommodation when on shift.5.6 weeks holiday pro rata.
About Our Client:Our client has Cerebral Palsy and are a full-time electric wheel chair user. They arelooking for a PA to assist with daily tasks such as shopping, cooking, cleaning, takingmedication routinely and to support when the client is wanting to go out and about. Theydo not want to be made fuss of and are looking for a PA they can call a friend. Overall,our client is an adventurous, animal lover that is excited at starting their newindependent life at Wrexham.You will provide our clients with health and social care. This is also a \"flatmate\" type ofrole which goes far beyond simply care work, and includes all the fun things you'd expectfrom life, like getting out and about to see friends, going to parties, going on holiday aftergraduation and much more!Care experience is not required as full training in our client's particularrequirements will be provided.Duties will include
? Personal care, and social support;? Work with the team to ensure information and issues arising during your shift arecorrectly reported and followed up;? Assist the student with administration tasks as required;
? Assist in emergency evacuations in halls, if the situation arises, as instructed bythe halls manager;? Encourage the student to engage in clubs/activities and societies;? Maintain good order, appearance and behaviour.? Assist the student with the organisation of events and extra-curricular activities.
About You:For this role, we are looking for a person with a good sense of humour, who is physicallyfit, calm, patient and caring.
