Ask Jules is looking for a Personal Care Assistant for our client, who is a career professional based in Cambridgeshire. Join a fantastic team of current Personal Care Assistants who provide personal care and assist with aspects of daily living.
Pay & Benefits: Hours: Holiday support is required. The client will go on holiday with his partner around 5-10 times per year and will be usually 10-14 days long each. Start Date: ASAP Location: Peterborough, Cambridgeshire Pay Rate: £17.39 per hour Care experience is not required as full training in our client's particular requirements will be provided.
About Our Client Our client is looking to recruit a Personal Care Assistant, to cover whilst he is abroad, and adhoc bank shifts either in Peterborough or London. The client has a Spinal Cord Injury and will require support with all aspects of life including personal care, clinical care, physiotherapy and general tasks around his home, so driving will be essential for this role. Prior care experience is not required as all training will be provided but some experience is preferred.
About You You are unlikely to have experience in every aspect of our client's care therefore full training in his particular needs is provided. You will need to be: physically fit, calm, patient and caring
a confident driver and hold a full UK driving licence with own vehicle
fluent in the English language
reliable and trustworthy
a non-smoker
organised and able to work on your own initiative
a positive individual with a good sense of humour
a mature and responsible individual
have excellent hearing and communication skills
clean and tidy in both your appearance and ways
have a valid passport
