We are recruiting either an individual or a team of Personal Assistants on behalf of our client, a Politics and Relations graduate who is venturing out into the world of work. Join his team of PAs who provide his independent living support.
About the Job:
Our client is looking for someone/people who will support him with his day to day life which includes going to work, socialising with friends, relaxing at home, playing tennis, going to the gym and medical appointments. Your core hours will generally be 9am-6pm and then you will be on call/available for the rest of the day as required. This post is for 4 days a week Monday-Thursday. There is also an opportunity to join a bank team of PAs for Friday-Sunday.
Location: Bristol
Start Date: As soon as possible
Pay rate: £170 per day
Holidays: 5.6 weeks holiday pro rata
You must hold a full clean manual UK driving licence as you will be driving our client's vehicle and must be a confident driver.
About our client:
- They have Cerebral Palsy

- Interested in most sports, especially tennis, football, cricket, rugby and horse racing and enjoys watching and talking about sport

About You:
You are unlikely to have experience in every aspect of our client's care therefore full training in his particular needs is provided. An ideal applicant will need:
- To be calm, patient and caring with a friendly approach and a good sense of humour.
- To be interested in current affairs
- To help with carrying items such as laptops or food/drinks at lunchtimes
- To have a mature and responsible attitude
- To be fluent in English.
- To be clean and tidy in both your appearance and ways.
- To be a good timekeeper and punctual as our client is relying on you to get him where he needs to be on time
- To be reliable and organised and maintain excellent standards.
- To be a good conversationalist but also a good listener.
- A full clean manual UK driving licence
You will be fully trained prior to starting, so previous experience of this type of work is not required. You must be able to respect our client's privacy and have an understanding of the need for confidentiality in all areas of your work.
