Are you a recent graduate and not sure what to do next? Or are you someone with a passion for making a positive impact in others' lives? We have an amazing opportunity for two Personal Assistants to support a young woman with Cerebral Palsy in her family home. This is a rewarding role supporting an independent, creative, and sociable young adult to live life to the fullest.

Start Date: 20th June 2026

Location: Birmingham

Hours: 20 hours per week each

Shift Pattern: Flexible working patterns including occasional overnight sleepovers

Rate of Pay: £15 per hour

Benefits:

  • 5.6 weeks holiday (pro rata)
  • Bespoke training in the client's particular requirements provided
  • Ongoing support from the client coordinator

About Our Client:

Our client has Cerebral Palsy and is a full-time electric wheelchair user. She is a confident, funny, and outgoing person who enjoys socialising with friends and family. She is highly motivated, creative, and enjoys keeping active and involved in the things she loves.

About the Job:

This is a fantastic opportunity to truly make a positive difference to somebody else's life and support our client to achieve her goals and aspirations. This role offers genuine job satisfaction and the opportunity to build a positive working relationship in a relaxed family home environment.

We are looking for positive, like-minded PAs to assist with day-to-day living and general support, helping our client to lead as independent a life as possible. Our client would like someone who is bubbly, fun, reliable, and happy to support her with social activities, appointments, hobbies, and getting out and about.

This role goes far beyond simply personal care work. It includes all the fun things you would expect a young adult to enjoy, such as days out, socialising, shopping, attending events, and much more. Care experience is not required as full training in our client's particular requirements will be provided.

You Will Need:

  • To be physically fit, calm, patient, friendly, and caring
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to work on your own initiative
  • A good sense of humour
  • A mature and responsible attitude
  • Good communication skills
  • To be fluent in English
  • To be clean and tidy in both your appearance and ways
  • A driving licence is desirable but not essential
