The Role
Asite is looking for an E-learning Designer to join our dynamic Learning team to create product and task training for business-to-business software users at all levels of the UK and international construction industry. You will collaborate with trainers, customer success, product owners, developers, sales, management and customers to design and implement engaging, effective interactive E-learning resources which support our customers and staff. This is a full-time role, office-based in central London.
What you’ll do:
- Design and develop high-quality, interactive e-learning content using tools like Articulate Storyline, Adobe Creative Suite, Camtasia.
- Explore revolutionary directions in AI-driven E-learning development.
- Work with Learning Team colleagues to get full value from our Learning Experience Platform (LXP) and ensure content is up-to-date, accessible and ever-improving.
- Manage a portfolio of client relationships relating to learning content and learner management.
- Simplify complexity and prioritise messaging in E-learning content and delivery.
- Create branded and compelling visuals, infographics, animations, videos, and feedback experiences to bring learning to life.
- Collaborate with the wider Learning team, product owners, customer implementation and success teams to storyboard, script, design and deliver engaging learning experiences to a wide range of different customers and staff.
- Quality assurance to ensure accuracy and consistency in functionality, logic, terminology and style across all learning approaches and content.
- Manage Asite learning style guides and templates for both E-learning and coordinate them with those used in face-to-face training.
- Manage the E-learning portfolio including data sheets, image, video and other E-learning assets.
- Manage and quality control translation of E-learning materials where required.
- Update and version control of E-learning assets.
- Stay ahead of design trends and bring fresh ideas to enhance our E-learning offer.
- Support the internal and external marketing of E-learning by identifying standout features, analytics and usage trends.
- Work with the Learning team and other stakeholders to promote E-learning, and effective, positive experiences with Asite products and people.
What you’ll need:
- Proven experience in instructional design and digital learning development, including the ambitious and imaginative use of content creation tools.
- Good technical understanding and a willingness to learn about digital products.
- Reflective implementation of a range of adult learning theories.
- Strong learning design skills and experience.
- Familiar with LXP, xAPI/SCORM, and learning analytics.
- A creative eye for visual storytelling, accessibility and learning effectiveness.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders, including other learning specialists, customers facing colleagues and management.
- Ability to lead initiatives and support those of others to build a consistent and exciting E-learning portfolio.
- A proactive approach and the ability to work at pace.
