As Assistant Store Manager, you’ll play a vital role in driving our Canary Wharf store to meet and exceed its sales targets. Using your proven retail expertise and commercial awareness, you’ll support the Store Manager to boost performance across a wide range of KPIs. How you’ll help us:
- Support the Store Manager in maximising sales and profitability and take the lead and drive performance when the Store Manager is absent.
- Understand local market trends and communicate this information to your manager.
- Help in the recruitment, training, retention, and development of a high-quality team, and offer guidance to staff to help us maintain the highest in-store standards.
- Ensure consistent planning and execution of product flow.
- Manage back-of-house operations, share store cleaning duties where required, and ensure best practices in team rotas and staffing levels.
More about you:
- Around 2 years of retail management experience, including coaching, counselling, and developing people.
- Qualification in Business Administration or related field (or two years' additional experience).
- Experience with retail operations, budgeting, planning, customer service, people development, and management.
- Impressive track record delivering a top level of customer service.
- Basic skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
