As Key Account Manager UK you’ll be tasked with engaging with key customers from across the UK market – driving profitable market share growth with these assigned customers and maintaining valuable relationships to support our sales targets in all categories.
An energetic self-starter with a proven sales background and strong commercial background, the work you do will play a major role in realising the business’s broader financial objectives and distribution strategy – enhancing perceptions of the ASICS brand globally.

Can you move minds?
We’re looking for a talented, proactive and an influential salesperson who has a genuine affinity with the sports and leisure industry. A people-person who likes to travel, you’ll be tirelessly customer-orientated, combining excellent listening skills with powers of persuasion to maintain relationships with some of our largest key account customers.
This role requires weekly travel within UK & occasionally Europe plus regular visits to our UK base Head Office in Warrington. You will be reporting to our Sales Manager UK.
As part of the role you’ll:
- Lead and drive development of the ASICS brands’ business and assigned customer portfolio and ensure consistent implementation of the sales strategy
- Making weekly contact with your customers to review sales / orderbook
- Pre-order intake twice per year.
- Execute pre-determined marketing activities and sales within set budgets.
- Provide realistic & accurate plans / forecasts on customer performance and ensure customer compliance with agreements. (Bi-weekly/Quarterly/Long term forecasting)
- Run sell-in meetings, create seasonal product assortments and go-to-market plans and agree on sell-out support in conjunction with support of the Marketing and Merchandising teams
- Be an expert in understanding the Customers business
- Work closely with Customer Service and Finance team to ensure an excellent customer service management to all accounts
- Understand sell-out measures, spotting and analysing opportunities in season.
- Market and competitors: Monitor and report on customers and competitors activities within the UK market and propose/initiate/take actions to the sustainable development of ASICS sales and market share.

What we’re looking for
- At least 5 years’ relevant working experience & minimum 4 years preferably within Sports, FMCG.
- Full, clean, driving license .
- Proven sales and listening skills, with a keen interest in sports & leisure.
- University degree or other commercial background.
- Excellent English language skills (spoken and written).
- Advanced IT skills, including MS Excel and PPT.
- Reporting skills and analytical
- Confident presentation and communication abilities.
- Flexibility to travel and to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
