Responsibilities include:
- Lead and manage all Operational and Delivery services for Trunk Road Services (TRS) in accordance with Statutory requirements specifically but not limited to Welsh Government Trunk Road Maintenance Manual (TRMM).
- Manage routine and cyclical maintenance activities, the annual SCA (Service Collaboration Agreement) programme, winter service, reactive works and emergency response incidents.
- Procure, stock manage, maintain vehicle, plant and equipment serviceability.
- Manage the TRS aspect of the three depots (Ynysforgan, Goat Mill and Pencoed).
- Engage with all operational interfaces outside TRS to ensure effective working of the organisation, in compliance with current legislation, regulations and best practice.
- Assist with all aspects of operational services as allocated by the TRS Manager.
