SWTRA works on projects across South Wales addressing significant challenges.

Responsibilities

  • To assess, prepare and deliver plans to provide a coordinated response to adverse weather impacting on the network.
  • To provide support and assistance to the Network Resilience Manager in the management and delivery of network operational functions to support network resilience in accordance with the Welsh Government’s requirements to ensure the safety of users of the Agent area.
  • To support the Network Resilience with the delivery of Incident Management, Contingency Planning, traffic management operations and other network operations functions as and when required.
  • To review policies, procedures and standards relating to the Traffic Officer Service and control room functions and make recommendations to continually improve service delivery.
