The Analyst, Board Operations supports the efficient and compliant functioning of the AIIB Board of Directors and its Committees. This role ensures the effective implementation of governance procedures and operational support aligned with the Bank's legal and institutional frameworks. By enabling timely planning, coordination, and execution of Board activities, this role contributes to the Bank's governance and institutional integrity.
Responsibilities:- Support the effective and compliant functioning of the AIIB Board of Directors and its Committees by implementing governance procedures in line with institutional frameworks.
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver operational and logistical support for Board and Committee meetings, retreats, and events.
- Collaborate with internal teams and senior officers to ensure timely inputs, support procedural requirements, and facilitate documentation workflows.
- Engage with Board members and their offices to provide logistical and administrative support for meetings and communications.
- Contribute to the preparation and execution of the forward work program for the Board and its Committees.
- Participate in cross-departmental governance initiatives to promote transparency, efficiency, and alignment with best practices.
- Conduct research and support knowledge management related to governance procedures, maintaining SOPs, internal guidelines, and staff resources.
- Perform quality assurance reviews of governance documents and presentations to ensure clarity, accuracy, and compliance with internal standards.
- Graduate degree or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., political science, public administration, or a related discipline), with two (2) years of professional experience.
- Comprehensive understanding of corporate governance, including institutional policies, operational frameworks, and procedural processes, with a demonstrated ability to navigate complex, process-driven environments.
- Proven experience engaging with governments, bilateral donors, and multilateral organizations, particularly in event coordination, stakeholder engagement, and project management.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft governance documents and convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
- Strong diplomatic and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to foster collaboration and build productive relationships across various stakeholder groups.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure, maintaining perspective, sound judgment, and a solution-oriented approach.
- Unwavering integrity and discretion, with a proven track record in handling confidential and sensitive matters.
