AIIB partners with governments and private entities to unlock new capital and invest in green, technology‑enabled infrastructure that promotes regional connectivity.

The AIIB’s Legal Associate Program (LAP) is a two‑year rotational contract designed to train young lawyers in key in‑house legal functions across the Bank’s operations. The rotation includes assignments in three LEG units—Institutional & Administrative, Public Sector Operations, and Private Sector Investment & Treasury Operations—providing broad exposure to diverse legal practice areas.

LAs are expected to contribute to the work programs of LEG’s units, build cross‑functional networks, and, when required, join field missions to support senior lawyers on the frontlines of AIIB operations. Training is extensive, covering AIIB policies, products, and operational frameworks. Associates will learn to devise risk‑mitigation solutions, prepare high‑quality project documents for internal clients, and may participate in selected training initiatives organized by Human Resources.
