NARS Foundation is pleased to announce an open call for the next seasons (Season III & IV, 2026) of the NARS International Artist Residency Program, running from February 16–March 9, 2026.
The NARS Foundation International Artist Residency Program supports emerging and mid-career artists working across all disciplines through three, six, and twelve-month residencies. The program is open to both International and US-based artists, creating a shared space for artistic dialogue and international cultural exchange for an extended period of time.
Internationally based artists are welcome to apply during the Open Call, or at any time during the year through the rolling application. US-based artists must apply through the Open Call. You may apply as a US-based artist if you’ve lived in the US for 3 years or more.
Fellowship OpportunityAs part of the Open Call, US-based artists are encouraged to apply for the Residency Full Fellowship, which covers all program fees for the residency of the selected artist. Please note that only US-based artists are eligible to apply for the Fellowship.
RequirementsThe program is open to all visual artists with an active professional practice. To apply as a US-based artist, applicant must have lived in the US for at least three years. All information submitted on the application form, C.V. and support materials must be in English.
