Main Purpose of the Job
To provide the full suite of MEP cost and commercial management project services typically expected of our Commercial, Corporate Real Estate (CRE), Advanced Manufacturing/R&D and hospitality clients.
Job Description
Full MEP cost & commercial management services from project inception to completion, including but not limited to, budget establishment, cost estimation, cost reporting, consultant and contractor procurement, valuations, contract administration, change control and administration and final account closure. Ability to work with a team of cost consultants across multiple projects.
Job Requirements & Person Specification
- Mandatory requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, MEP engineering or similar
- Minimum of 8 years' total QS/cost consultancy working experience in Singapore
- Minimum of 3 years' experience working on mission critical projects in Singapore
- Experience of at least two of the following: Commercial, CRE/office fit out project for an MNC, advanced manufacturing/R&D/laboratory project
- Minimum of 2-3 years' experience working with a QS/cost consultancy firm in Singapore
- At least one project with minimum project value of S$5 to S$10m.
- Based in Singapore or Singaporean
- Fluent in English with good interpersonal skills
- Desirable attributes
- RICS or SISV qualification is an advantage.
- Familiarity with BIM, CostX, Glodon and other cost management tools.
- Ability to work with international stakeholders will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge and experience on Capital Allowances, Capex, LCC, Due diligence reports.
- Ability to provide full cost management solutions on builders works in addition to MEP works.
