Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full spectrum of accounting and finance operations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing.
- Oversee Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and fixed assets.
- Prepare GST returns, corporate tax schedules, and regulatory reports.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, banks, and government authorities.
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and statutory requirements.
- Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting policies.
- Lead, supervise, and mentor the accounting team.
- Drive process improvements and accounting system enhancements.
- Support management with financial analysis and strategic decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of SFRS, GST, corporate tax, and Singapore statutory requirements.
- Experience in ERP or accounting software (e.g., Xero, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, or similar).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in trading, import & export, manufacturing, or logistics industries.
- Experience managing multi-entity or multi-currency accounting.
- Familiarity with budgeting, cash flow management, and audit coordination.
