Workshop Controller – Monday to Friday Only
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 basic + bonus scheme
Hours: 8am – 6pm, Monday to Friday (no weekends!)
Holidays: 20 days + bank holidays
Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for keeping a busy workshop running like clockwork?
We’re on the hunt for an experienced Workshop Controller to oversee a team of 6–7 talented technicians, making sure every job is completed to the highest standard — on time, every time.
What you’ll be doing:
* Managing daily workshop operations and allocating jobs efficiently
* Using the Techman system to book work and keep everything flowing
* Ordering parts as needed to keep jobs moving smoothly
* Driving productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction
* Supporting and mentoring the team, using your own technical knowledge to solve problems quickly
What we’re looking for:
* Proven experience as a Workshop Controller in the motor trade
* A strong technical/automotive background
* Confident with digital systems (all our processes are fully digitised)
* Organised, proactive, and a natural communicator
