We are looking for an experienced and reliable Mobile LCV Technician to join our growing night-shift team. This is a mobile role attending customer sites and roadside locations to carry out maintenance, diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on light commercial vehicles. This position is ideal for a skilled technician who enjoys working independently, solving problems efficiently, and delivering excellent service to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on LCVs
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment
- Respond to breakdowns and roadside assistance callouts
- Complete inspections and safety checks to DVSA standards
- Ensure all paperwork and job reports are completed accurately
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment
- Deliver excellent customer service at all times
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
- Proven experience working on vans and light commercial vehicles
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- HGV licence beneficial but not essential
