We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded independent garage that is looking to add an experienced Vehicle Technician to its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technician who takes pride in their work and is looking for a long-term role with great earning potential, a supportive team, and a genuine work–life balance — with no Saturday working.
The Role:
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a range of vehicles
- Diagnostics and fault finding to a high standard
- MOT preparation and general mechanical work
- Working efficiently while maintaining quality and attention to detail
- Contributing positively to a friendly, professional workshop environment
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Vehicle Technician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred)
- Previous experience in an independent garage or dealership
- Confident in diagnostics and general mechanical repairs
- Reliable, motivated and takes pride in their workmanship
- Full UK driving licence
What’s on Offer:
- £40,000–£45,000 basic salary + bonus (dependent on experience)
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 6:00pm
- No Saturdays or Sundays
- 20 days holiday + Bank Holidays
