Are you a skilled Vehicle Technician looking for something more than routine servicing and repairs? We're recruiting on behalf of a well‑established, family‑run automotive specialist with a close‑knitted team of five technicians who share a genuine passion for performance, prestige and luxury vehicles. This is an opportunity to work on a fascinating variety of projects, from diagnostics and fault‑finding to performance modifications, tuning, engine rebuilds and bespoke vehicle enhancements.

As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be involved in a diverse range of mechanical and diagnostic work across luxury, performance and enthusiast vehicles. The workshop is known for taking on interesting projects that challenge and develop your technical abilities. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Vehicle servicing and repairs
  • Advanced diagnostics and fault finding
  • Mechanical repairs and component replacement
  • Performance modifications and tuning work
  • Engine rebuilds and specialist projects
  • Supporting high standards of workmanship across the workshop

What we're looking for

Essential

  • Proven experience carrying out a wide range of mechanical repairs
  • Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding ability
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Maximum of 6 penalty points

Desirable

  • Experience working with Porsche vehicles
  • Experience with Volkswagen Audi Group (VAG) products
  • Performance or specialist vehicle experience

Salary & Benefits

  • £45,000 - £50,000 basic salary
  • Performance‑related bonus of up to £5,000 per year, paid monthly
  • Bonus starts from 75% performance achievement and is individually earned
  • 20 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
  • Holiday buy‑back scheme available

  • Fully funded track days throughout the year (typically 3-4 annually)

Working Hours

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
