Location: Worthing

Salary: £35,568 per annum (£15.20 per hour)

Hours: 45 hours per week

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 6:00pm (1-hour unpaid break)
  • 1-in-3 Saturdays, 7:00am – 1:00pm (paid at overtime rate)

The Role

We’re working on behalf of our client to recruit an experienced Parts Supervisor to take ownership of their on-site Parts Department and keep operations running smoothly day to day. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll work closely with the Site Manager to set departmental objectives and ensure they’re delivered. You’ll lead and support the parts team, provide efficient support to the workshop and retail counter, and maintain high standards across service, compliance, and performance. You’ll also liaise regularly with the Group Aftersales Manager, as well as other sites and departments, helping to keep the wider business aligned and ensuring customers receive fast, reliable, and professional support at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Parts Department
  • Lead, motivate, and support the parts team
  • Support workshop and retail counter requirements efficiently
  • Maintain strong stock control and ordering processes
  • Ensure compliance with company and manufacturer standards
  • Work collaboratively with other sites and departments
  • Contribute to departmental targets and performance objectives

About You

  • Previous experience in an automotive parts role, ideally at supervisory level
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills
  • Confident working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with high attention to detail
