Location: SW & W London
You will be responsible for carrying out MOT inspections to DVSA standards, completing documentation accurately, identifying defects and advising customers clearly and professionally. Youâll work closely with technicians and the service desk to ensure fast, accurate handling of vehicles through the workshop.
Key responsibilities- Perform MOT inspections and issue certificates in line with DVSA rules.
- Record defects, produce accurate job cards and communicate findings to customers.
- Maintain test equipment and ensure the test bay is tidy and compliant.
- Work with the team to prioritize workloads and meet daily targets.
- Current DVSA-approved MOT Tester qualification (Class 4/5 as applicable).
- Proven MOT testing experience.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety/compliance.
- Good communication skills and customerâfocused attitude.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Additional vehicle maintenance qualification or workshop experience.
- Ability to work on light commercial vehicles (if needed).
Competitive salary banding (ÂŁ38kâÂŁ42k). Stable hours â Monday-Thursday 08:00-17:00, Friday 08:00-16:30.
