I'm recruiting for an experienced MET Technician to join a busy, well-run bodyshop in Woolwich. This is a rare opportunity to join a workshop where the owner is known for genuinely looking after the team, creating a supportive, respectful working environment where technicians are valued. Responsibilities
- Remove and refit mechanical and electrical components during the repair process
- Carry out ADAS calibration work where qualified
- Diagnose mechanical issues related to collision damage
- Ensure all repairs are completed safely and to manufacturer standards
- Work closely with the wider bodyshop team to keep repairs progressing efficiently
Requirements
- Previous experience as an MET Technician within a bodyshop environment
- Strong mechanical knowledge within accident repair
- ADAS calibration experience preferred
- Level 3 MET qualification ideal
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high repair standards
Salary and Benefits
- £50,000 salary for MET technicians experienced in mechanical and ADAS
- £45,000 salary for technicians not yet fully qualified
- Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:30pm
- No weekend work
- Overtime paid at 1.25x rate
