Our client, a busy independent automotive business is looking for a creative and commercially minded Short-Form Content Creator to take ownership of its automotive content across social media.
This is a hands-on role based around a busy workshop, where you’ll be responsible for finding content opportunities, filming, editing and publishing engaging short-form videos across platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.
The role is much more than simply filming cars. They’re looking for someone who can spot interesting stories within everyday workshop activity, from unusual faults and repairs to technician knowledge, interesting vehicles and the personalities within the business.

The Role
• Take ownership of short-form content from idea through to publishing
• Film workshop activity, repairs, diagnostics, vehicles, technicians and behind-the-scenes content
• Edit footage into engaging, fast-paced videos suitable for different social platforms
• Write captions and prepare content for publishing
• Identify content opportunities without needing to be told what to film
• Work with different members of the team to showcase their personalities, knowledge and skills
• Keep content organised and maintain a consistent posting schedule
• Monitor performance and use social media analytics to understand what content works
• Keep up with relevant automotive and social media trends
What They’re Looking For
• Previous experience creating and editing short-form video content
• Good understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook and YouTube Shorts
• Creative mindset with an understanding of what makes people stop scrolling
• Confident filming and editing content independently
• Proactive, organised and able to manage multiple pieces of content
• Comfortable working in a busy workshop environment and approaching different people
• Strong attention to detail and a good standard of written and visual content
• An interest in cars and the automotive industry
