We’re recruiting an experienced HGV Technician on behalf of our client to join a well-established, professional workshop environment with genuinely flexible working hours and strong earning potential. This role is ideal for technicians looking for work–life balance, competitive pay, and the option of early or late shifts.
The Role
As an HGV Technician, you’ll be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of a fleet of HGVs, ensuring vehicles are kept to the highest safety and compliance standards.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 40 hours per week
- Workshop open 6am–6pm with flexible start times
- 1 in 3 Saturdays: 6am–2pm (paid at overtime rate – time and a half)
- Late shift option available: 2pm–11pm (great for techs who prefer evenings)
Pay & Benefits
- £45,000 basic salary (£21.63 per hour)
- Up to £49,000 including Saturday overtime
- 22 days holiday + bank holidays
