Are you an organised, customer-focused administrator looking for your next opportunity?
Our client, a well-established independent specialist garage in Haslemere, is looking for a Service Administrator to join their friendly and supportive team.
This is a varied front-of-house role where you'll be the first point of contact for customers while providing vital administrative support to the Service Advisor.
You'll also step in to provide cover during lunch breaks, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a busy, fast-paced environment.
The Role
- As Service Administrator, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Answering incoming customer calls and providing excellent customer service.
- Booking vehicles in for servicing, repairs and maintenance.
- Preparing invoices and handling general administrative tasks.
- Supporting the Service Advisor with daily operations.
- Maintaining accurate customer and vehicle records.
- Assisting with general front desk duties to ensure the smooth running of the service department.
About You
We're looking for someone who is
- Experienced in an administrative role.
- Friendly, professional and confident dealing with customers over the phone and in person.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Able to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment.
- Based locally to Haslemere or within an easy commuting distance.
Previous motor trade experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
What's on Offer?
- Salary of £29,700–£32,000, depending on experience.
- £5,000 Christmas bonus.
- Monday to Friday only – no weekends.
- Standard hours of 8:00am–6:00pm, with the possibility of 8:00am–5:00pm for the right candidate.
- 21 days' annual leave plus Bank Holidays.
