A well-established independent garage is looking to strengthen its workshop team with either an experienced MOT Tester or a senior Technician capable of handling complex mechanical work. This is a stable, long-term opportunity within a busy but well-run workshop that values quality repairs, technical ability, and a healthy work-life balance.
Responsibilities- MOT testing, servicing, and general mechanical work for the MOT Tester position
- Full engine rebuilds, cambelts, and complex mechanical repairs for the senior Technician role
- Diagnosing faults and maintaining high standards of workmanship
- Valid MOT Tester licence or strong experience in heavy mechanical work
- Background in a similar garage
- Ability to work independently with a professional approach
- MOT Tester: £35,000-£40,000
- Senior Technician (heavy mechanical): up to £45,000
- Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm
- No weekends
- 20 days holiday plus
