The Role This is a genuinely varied technician role, covering everything from diagnostics and fault finding through to general mechanical work. You’ll be responsible for: * Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults * Using diagnostic equipment to identify problems accurately * General servicing, repairs and mechanical work * Tackling more involved diagnostic and fault-finding jobs * Wet belt replacements and associated work * Finding the actual problem rather than simply throwing parts at it * Completing work to a high standard and taking pride in what you do What We’re Looking For We’re looking for an experienced Diagnostic Technician who: * Is genuinely good at diagnostics and fault finding * Is confident with all aspects of mechanical work * Has solid hands-on wet belt experience * Can think for themselves and work without constant supervision * Takes pride in their workmanship * Is reliable and gets on well with others * Appreciates a bit of old-school banter and straight talking You don’t need to be a fan of endless meetings, corporate buzzwords or team-building exercises involving blindfolds and spaghetti.
