An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join a well-established independent specialist garage in the Godalming area. This is a varied role that combines traditional Service Advisor duties with light workshop coordination responsibilities. Working alongside another Service Advisor, you'll help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the workshop while delivering outstanding customer service.
The Role
- Managing customer bookings and service enquiries
- Providing updates to customers throughout the repair process
- Preparing estimates and invoices
- Liaising with technicians and monitoring workshop progress
- Supporting workshop scheduling and workflow management
- Ensuring jobs are completed efficiently and customers receive a first-class experience
This is not a productive workshop controller position, but candidates with some workshop control or workshop coordination experience will be at a distinct advantage.
About You
- Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor is essential
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Organised and able to prioritise a busy workload
- Knowledge of workshop operations and job flow
- Workshop control experience would be beneficial but is not essential
- A positive, team-focused approach
What's On Offer?
