Dartford Area A family-run independent garage in the Dartford area is expanding, and they're looking for a strong Workshop Controller to help take the business to the next level. Responsibilities * Take control of the workshop operation, managing daily workflow and ensuring technicians are working efficiently. * Allocate jobs, monitor progress and keep the workshop running smoothly throughout the day. * Lead and support the team, maintaining high standards of productivity and workmanship. * Work closely with the service team to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and customer expectations are met. * Identify opportunities to improve workshop performance as the business continues to grow. * Take an active role in the future of the business, with the potential to move into a position running the operation. Requirements * Someone who knows how to run a workshop, bring a team together and get the best out of the people around them. * You'll ideally have experience as a Workshop Controller or Workshop Manager, understand the demands of a busy automotive environment and be ready to take on a role where your input genuinely matters. * Most importantly, you'll want more than simply turning up, managing the workload and going home. You'll want to help build something and have the ambition to take your career further.
