Automotive Workshop Controller (Croydon) – 45K Family‑Run Business
Are you an experienced technician ready to step up or a seasoned Workshop Controller who still enjoys getting on the tools? We’ve got the perfect role for you. We’re working with a well‑established family‑run automotive business in the Croydon area, looking for a Workshop Controller to lead a small dedicated team and keep the workshop running smoothly.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading a team of 4 technicians, mentoring, motivating and managing workflow
- Spending around 20% of your time on the tools (keep your hands dirty!)
- Loading and scheduling jobs through the workshop
- Managing job cards and ensuring work is completed efficiently and to a high standard
- Speaking with customers to update on progress and advise on repairs
Hours: Monday to Friday 7:00am–5:00pm (No weekends – enjoy your time off!)
