We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing business in Croydon for a reliable and adaptable HGV Driver / Site Assistant to join their team. This is a varied, hands-on role that offers much more than just driving. You'll play a key part in the day-to-day operation of the business, supporting vehicle movements, customer service, and site activities.
Key Responsibilities- Collection and delivery of customer vehicles
- Moving vehicles between company sites and yards
- Collecting vehicle parts and supplies as required
- Assisting with vehicle washing and preparation when needed
- Supporting the wider team with general site duties
- Hold a valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV Licence – essential
- Reliable, professional and customer-focused
- Comfortable working in a varied role where no two days are the same
- Flexible and willing to assist with a range of operational tasks
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Starting salary of approximately £45,000 per year
- Monday to Friday working pattern (7:00am – 5:00pm)
- Flexibility on hours can be discussed for the right candidate
