Vehicle Technician – Main Dealer - No Weekends Christchurch | Permanent | £30,000 - £35,000 OTE We have an exciting opportunity for a Vehicle Technician to join a highly respected, long-established main dealer in Christchurch.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a stable workshop with an excellent reputation, a supportive management team, and a workforce where many employees have built long and successful careers.

The

Role

  • Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs to manufacturer standards.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults using the latest diagnostic equipment.
  • Complete routine inspections, MOT preparation, and general vehicle checks.
  • Work efficiently while maintaining excellent standards of quality and safety.
  • Keep up to date with the latest vehicle technology, including hybrid and electric systems.
  • Work as part of an experienced and supportive workshop team. What's on offer?
  • Monday to Friday only – 8:15am to 5:30pm.
  • No weekend working.
  • Ongoing manufacturer and technical training.
  • MOT Tester training for those who aren't already qualified.
  • EV/Hybrid training.

Who we're looking for We're keen to speak with qualified Vehicle Technicians who take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

  • Level 3 qualification is preferred; however, we're also happy to consider candidates with an NVQ/IMI Level 2 who are looking to continue developing their skills.
  • Main dealer experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a strong team ethic are key.
