We’re looking for an organised, computer-literate Bodyshop Advisor/Administrator to join our clients busy commercial bodyshop, offering a genuine opportunity to train and progress into a Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) role. This is a varied, office-based position with strong links to the workshop, customers, and insurers—ideal for someone with some automotive or trade knowledge who’s keen to develop more technical skills over time.
About the Business
My client is a commercial bodyshop carrying out:
- Internal repair work
- Private customer repairs
- Insurance work
You’ll be working in a fast-paced but supportive environment where quality, organisation, and communication really matter.
The Role
This role is similar to a Service Advisor position, with a strong focus on administration and customer communication. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing customer updates via phone and email
- Handling job administration and documentation
- Liaising closely with the workshop, customers, and insurers
- Supporting vehicle drop-offs and occasional face-to-face customer interaction
- Assisting with damage assessment and repair processes over time
All pricing and estimates are completed longhand (not Audatex), so attention to detail and a willingness to learn are essential.
Training & Progression – Trainee VDA
