This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Technician to join a busy independent garage with a strong reputation for quality service.
You’ll work in your own dedicated ramp and workspace, focusing on servicing, cambelts, clutch repairs, and general maintenance. Training, including MOT Level 5, is provided if needed. The role offers a supportive environment, free onsite parking, and flexible working hours.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Servicing vehicles, cambelt replacements, clutch repairs, and general maintenance
• Using diagnostic equipment to assist in fault finding
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service
• Adhering to health & safety and company policies
• Participating in training opportunities including MOT Level 5 if required
What We’re Looking For:
• Proven experience with servicing, cambelts, and clutch repairs
• Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points
• Reliable, motivated, and able to work well in a close-knit team environment
• Additional experience advantageous but not essential
• Willingness to learn and engage with ongoing training
What You Get in Return:
• £36,000 – £38,000 basic salary
• Monday to Friday with shift options:
– 8:00 am to 5:30 pm (with 60-minute lunch)
– 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (with 30-minute lunch)
• Close-knit, supportive team with your own ramp and workspace
• Training provided, including MOT Level 5 if needed
• 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
• Free onsite parking
