If you're an experienced Vehicle Technician who wants good money, sensible hours and the kind of working environment you don't always get in a main dealer, this could be a very good move. This established independent garage is looking for a strong all-round technician to join the workshop. You'll be trusted to get on with the job, work on a varied range of vehicles and use your experience across everything from diagnostics and fault-finding through to major mechanical repairs and cambelts.

The salary is already £40,000-£48,000, with the potential to earn more for someone who has a lot to offer. Combine that with Monday to Friday working and no weekends, and you've got a package that's hard to ignore.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle diagnostics and electrical fault-finding.
• General mechanical repairs and servicing.
• Cambelts, clutches and other major mechanical work.
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs to a high standard.
• Working independently across a varied workshop workload.

Requirements

• Strong experience as a Vehicle Technician.
• Confident carrying out diagnostics and fault-finding.
• Good mechanical repair skills.
• Experience with cambelts and major repairs.
• Able to work independently and take pride in your workmanship.
• A genuine all-rounder who can tackle a varied range of jobs.

Salary and Benefits

• £40,000-£48,000 basic salary (potentially more)
• Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:30pm
• No weekend working
• 22 days holiday + Bank Holidays
• Sickness bonus
