Vehicle Technician
If you're an experienced Vehicle Technician who enjoys a good mix of mechanical work, diagnostics and keeping busy in the workshop, this could be worth a look.
We're recruiting for a Technician to join an established workshop, working on a variety of vehicles and carrying out everything from routine servicing and repairs through to fault-finding and diagnostics.
The role
- Carry out routine servicing and maintenance
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults
- Carry out vehicle inspections and identify any additional work required
- Complete mechanical repairs to a high standard
- Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults
- Carry out MOT preparation work
- Keep accurate records of work completed
- Work efficiently to agreed timescales while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
About you
- Level 3 qualified preferred, but experience is more important
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- MOT licence would be a bonus
- MOT training available for the right person
- Full UK driving licence required
Benefits
- £36,000-£40,000 basic, depending on experience
- OTE up to £50,000 based on time saved
- 39 hours per week
- Monday-Friday, 08:30-17:15
- 1 in 4 Saturdays, 08:00-12:00
