Are you ready to make a meaningful difference to children's learning? Ashwood Spencer Academy are seeking a dedicated L2 Teaching Assistant to cover Speech and Language. We are looking for a committed teaching assistant to lead Speech and Language across the school. This will involve liaising with professionals, delivering Speech and Language interventions and liaising and communicating with parents and class teachers.

Qualifications

  • Patient, positive and have empathy for all pupils.
  • Motivational and inspirational, fostering a love of learning in all pupils.
  • Strong behaviour management skills.
  • Able to understand how different pupils learn and the barriers some face to their learning.
  • Able to support in the delivery of creative and innovative approaches to learning, driving differentiated planning and confident in resourcing to impact on all pupils' learning.
  • Successful in encouraging pupils to take responsibility for their own behaviour and support them where necessary.
