Are you ready to make a meaningful difference to children’s learning? Ashwood Spencer Academy are seeking a dedicated L2 Teaching Assistant. One position is permanent, and one position will be to cover maternity for one year. Both positions will initially be in Key Stage 1, and we are looking for someone with a strong knowledge of phonics and who is able to deliver small group interventions.
The successful candidates must be:
- Patient, positive and have empathy for all pupils.
- Motivational and inspirational, fostering a love of learning in all pupils.
- Strong behaviour management skills.
- Able to understand how different pupils learn and the barriers some face to their learning.
- Able to support in the delivery of creative and innovative approaches to learning, driving differentiated planning and confident in resourcing to impact on all pupils’ learning.
- Successful in encouraging pupils to take responsibility for their own behaviour and support them where necessary.
