Our client is based in Southampton and are looking for an experienced Family Legal Assistant to join their busy and supportive team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional administrative and client support.
The Role Support the family team with general administrative support.
Managing fee earners' diaries, arranging meetings and appointments.
Handling telephone enquiries from clients and third parties.
Audio typing and copy typing.
Preparing, formatting and amending legal documents.
Maintaining client files and ensuring documentation is accurate and up to date.
Desired skills and experience: Previous experience as a Legal Assistant around 1 years + ideally within Family Law (although candidates from other legal disciplines will also be considered).
Excellent document production and formatting skills.
Strong organisational and diary management abilities.
Audio and copy typing experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Word, with Excel skills.
Experience using Lexis Nexis Smart Forms would be beneficial but is not essential.

Offer: Full time hours and officed based - Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm.
Salary deepening on experience - £25,000 - £28,000.
