An excellent opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Commercial Solicitor to join a Legal 500 firm within their Commercial & Construction team. They are a full-service law firm that is seeking a Solicitor with a good understanding of the market to take on an existing varied caseload whilst also undertaking business development.

Duties will include:

  • Provide legal advice on a wide range of commercial agreements.
  • Advise clients on non-contentious construction matters, including drafting and negotiating JCTs and NECs.
  • Identify, assess, and manage legal risks for clients, in the context of contractual relationships, commercial transactions, and compliance matters.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Conduct legal research into relevant laws and regulations.
  • Active involvement within business development.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Commercial & Construction Solicitor fee earning experience essential 1-3 years PQE.
  • Have a very high level of technical competence.
  • Marketing and business development skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting targets.
  • Have strong interpersonal skills.
