- 26 weeks paid parental leaveHealth and wellbeing benefits, gym membership and discountedcorporate health plansFlexible work optionsThe Opportunity:We are currently looking for a 4-8+ PQE Associate/Senior Associatewith proven post-qualification experience in corporate lending to joinour team in the London office.You can expect to have exposure to a wide range of high-quality transactions.Main tasks and qualities:You would typically act on all elements of a financing from termsheet stage, through to closing and post-closing.
Your specificareas of responsibility will be the drafting and negotiation offacility agreements and intercreditor agreements, supervising othermembers of the team, negotiating security documents and liaisingwith local counsel on multi-jurisdictional matters, ensuring asmooth process to transaction close.You will be encouraged to build client relationships with ourrelationship banks and key corporate clients and to have a desire tobuild on these and develop your own client network with support andguidance from the partners and wider team.
Most of our associateswill go on a client secondment to further develop personal and firmrelationships and enhance their commercial skills.You would be working as part of a committed and inspired friendlyteam that enjoys its work and considers itself a leader in its fieldof practice.
All members of the team have frequent client contact.You will be encouraged to use Harvey and other AI solutions inyour work and developing AI capabilities is an essential part ofthis role.Typical responsibilities include:Drafting of legal documents;Advising clients;Negotiating with counterparts and leading calls;Coordinating completion of transactions.In addition to strong technical skills, you should be able todemonstrate an enthusiasm for business development and stronginterpersonal skills as there will be significant client contact, inboth the work and business development context.
You will be expectedto mentor junior members of the team, supervise trainees and workclosely with the wider Global Loans and Global Markets team.
