Essential skills and experience
We are seeking an experienced Construction Associate to join our team on a 6 month contract. The successful candidate will provide senior-level transactional support to our real estate and real estate finance teams, as well as advise developer clients on a range of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support real estate transactions, including acquisitions and disposals, due diligence, and drafting construction-related documents.
- Advise on real estate finance matters, particularly refinancing and development finance for lender clients, including complex, multi-lender transactions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate agreements for lease, consultancy appointments, building contracts, and related documentation for development projects.
- Contribute to special projects, such as Building Safety Act advice and bespoke document drafting.
Key Requirements
- Senior-level construction lawyer with extensive real estate experience, ideally from a top-tier law firm.
- Ability to manage matters and advise clients independently, with minimal supervision.
- Experience in both transactional and contentious construction work is essential
