About the role
As a Network Engineer, the primary focus of this role will be to deliver 3rd line operational support within our IT - Platforms Network Team, with a particular emphasis on providing coverage to ensure the continued availability and reliability of our systems. You will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining network infrastructure, ensuring that any issues are promptly identified and resolved to minimise disruption. Alongside this, you will support the implementation of new technologies and systems, contributing to both ongoing Business as Usual (BAU) activities and project-based initiatives within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role reports to the Infrastructure Team Leader. Hours of work are 9:00 am - 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with requirements to work the On Call rota on a rotating basis. Additional overtime outside core hours and at weekends for system maintenance and other out of hours work will be required.
