The Opportunity

Ashurst Advance Digital is the firm's technology and experience powerhouse, working with our New Law business to create differentiated services while embedding digital tools, capabilities and mindsets across the firm. We are seeking a creative and collaborative Service Designer to join the Digital Experience team, helping expand our user-centred research and design capability in EMEA while shaping and embedding service design practices that support digital transformation across the firm.

We are interested in hearing from people who:

  • Bring core foundations including a degree in design, law, business or a related field and 3-5 years' experience in a service design or user experience design related role, either in-house or agency.
  • Have experience working in a professional services environment and are comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
  • Can demonstrate a strong, shareable portfolio showcasing their capability, experience and the practical application of different facets of their service design toolkit.
  • Are collaborative, direct yet diplomatic visual communicators and storytellers who can translate ideas between technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Show enthusiasm for innovation, digital transformation, emerging best practices and continual learning, alongside strong communication, facilitation, collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
