Overview
We are seeking an accomplished Real Estate Disputes lawyer to join our market-leading commercial real estate litigation team on a six-month contract. This role is available on a full-time or part-time basis and offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated disputes across the commercial real estate lifecycle, acting for an impressive client base of developers, investors, landlords, occupiers and funders.
Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse caseload of commercial real estate disputes from initial assessment through to resolution, including pre-action strategy, ADR and litigation.
- Draft and negotiate pleadings, correspondence and settlement agreements, and provide clear, commercial advice to clients at all stages of a dispute.
- Collaborate with colleagues across real estate, planning, corporate and restructuring to deliver integrated solutions on complex and time-critical mandates.
- Contribute to client and business development initiatives, including thought leadership, training and targeted know-how.
About You
- Strong track record in commercial real estate litigation, with experience across development disputes.
- Excellent written and oral advocacy skills, with sound judgment, meticulous attention to detail and a proactive, client-centred approach.
- Able to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities while maintaining high standards.
