The Opportunity
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of high calibre matters, our Projects & Energy Transition team in Brisbane are looking for a Senior Associate with a background in major projects and a commercial mindset to join our leading practice.
In this role you will work closely with clients on projects relating to the procurement and delivery of major infrastructure projects, with a focus on the transport sector.
This is an excellent opportunity to make the big move to Brisbane, Australia and be supported in doing so. We will assist you with relocation, visas (if required) and re‑qualification (if required). Ready to take the leap? Reach out today to learn more!
About You
- 6 years or more post admission experience in a projects, infrastructure or construction practice area, gained within a top-tier or mid-tier firm, or in‑house
- Passionate about the sectors that we work in and sees the big picture beyond legal issues
- Exceptional ability to build meaningful and long-lasting relationships with colleagues and clients
- Demonstrated capability to work collaboratively, bring lawyers into matter workstreams, and actively mentor lawyers
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Advanced drafting skills
- A commercial approach while remaining legally appropriate having regard to all broader circumstances
- Very strong attention to detail with well-developed analytical skills
- Ability to be team-focused and also work independently
