As the Subject Matter Expert (SME) forthe cyber security analysts, the Senior Cyber Security Analyst willguide analysts in performing Business As Usual (BAU) activities,including daily checks, incident response (IR), event monitoring,and response etc.Additionally, they will work closelywith team lead/manager to manage workloads, drive initiatives,uplift the team environment, and mentor junior team members.The is a full time permanentposition, based in Glasgow with hybrid working.Main responsibilities include:Oversee and enhance monitoring ofsecurity alerts and events using advanced security information andevent management (SIEM) toolsLead the analysis of security logsand alerts to identify potential security incidentsPerform and supervise comprehensiveanalysis of security logs, network traffic, and data to detect andrespond to advanced threats.Implement and oversee correctiveactions and security measures to prevent future incidentsDevelop and implement processes toprevent recurring security incidents and address underlying issuesMore information can be found in the job description attached tothe role on our careers site Careers |Ashurst Perkins CoieAbout you:The successful candidate will have:Relevant Cyber Security and/or IT experienceExperience in metric reporting andKPI/SLA managementExperience with securitytechnologies such as firewalls, SIEM, DLP and endpoint protectionExperience working with Jira, AzureDevOps, ITSM tools such as Cherwell and ServiceNow and the MSOffice suiteExcellent communication skills,both verbal and written, along with a track record of establishingand maintaining effective relationships and collaborating with stakeholders#LI-HYBRID #LI-TM1
