Our Talent Acquisition team is dedicated to finding the best people for the firm and providing top‑tier service to our stakeholders. Our UK team is based across London and Glasgow, and we manage the end‑to‑end recruitment of all legal, Ashurst advance, business support and partner roles on a national basis. We are looking to hire an enthusiastic Talent Acquisition Advisor to join our team in Glasgow. This role will proactively identify and engage with top legal talent in the market to fill current and future vacancies.

This is an excellent opportunity to join the Legal Talent Acquisition team at a pivotal and exciting time for the firm, as we are in a period of strategic growth and this role will play a major part in expanding our day‑to‑day capabilities and wider team initiatives. This is a full‑time, permanent role based in our Glasgow office with hybrid working.

Responsibilities
  • Leading end‑to‑end recruitment for legal practices and divisions across the UK.
  • Conduct talent mapping and direct sourcing to identify and engage high‑quality candidates.
  • Engage and manage recruitment agency relationships, ensuring terms of business are agreed and best practice protocols are in place.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand hiring needs and deliver tailored recruitment solutions.
  • Build trust and effectively handle relationships with candidates and senior internal stakeholders in both legal and other divisions as required.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrable experience or interest in in‑house recruitment or agency recruitment.
  • Strong people, partnership, relationship management and consulting skills.
  • Strong business acumen, intellect, judgement and communication/advisory skills.
  • Ability to think outside the box and produce new search methodologies for analysing and assessing talent.
  • Ability to manage complex situations and multiple priorities with a dedication to providing an outstanding candidate and client experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and risk and control mind‑set.
