The role, known internally as the Key Client Coordinator, is part of the firm's Working Capital team based in Glasgow. This is a new role which will involve:
- Managing and monitoring WIP, billing, and debt activity for a selection of the firm's key clients.
- Monitoring and supporting timely billing of WIP and payment of invoices with a view to reducing unbilled WIP levels, aged WIP, debt, and potential losses.
- A key focus will be to identify roadblocks through regular WIP and debt reviews, ensuring root causes are resolved.
- Regularly liaising with relevant stakeholders to discuss progress.
- Developing a working understanding of financial processes to effectively support and deliver key operational activities.
This is a full-time, permanent role based in our Glasgow office with hybrid working.
About you: The successful candidate will have:
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written), the ability to liaise at all levels and build strong relationships with both internal and external clients.
- Experience of working in a law firm (advantageous but not essential).
- Ability to negotiate suitable outcomes and possess practical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.
- High degree of initiative and pro-activity.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel and Outlook.
